Arlene Martel comes aboard!

"Battlestar Galactica" (1978) fans will recognize her from "The Long Patrol", one of the series' best episodes.
"Star Trek" fans, (well really just about everyone), knows her from her most famous TV appearance, as 'T'Pring', Mr. Spock's Vulcan bride from that show's immensely popular 1967 episode "Amok Time".
Arlene Martel as T'Pring

Of course, I'm talking about Arlene Martel.  Ms. Martel  has graciously accepted my invitation to join us in the Caribbean on Galacticruise.

Did you know that Arlene Martel also played characters in two episodes of "Twilight Zone"? She also acted in what many consider the best episode of "The Outer Limits", 'Demon with the Glass Hand', written by Harlen Ellison.

Arlene also played in the role of "Tiger", the French underground freedom fighter (and Hogan's girlfriend) in many episodes of "Hogan's Heroes".
You've also seen Arlene in guest appearances in many TV shows of the 1960's and 1970's, including "Bewitched", "I Dream of Jeanie",  "The Fugitive" and many more.

Arlene Martel is not just a talented actress, she's also an acting coach. She studied method acting at the famous Actors Studio with notables Lee Strasberg and Sidney Lumet.
Arlene may even conduct an acting workshop for us on the cruise!

There's much more to discover on Arlene's website www.arlenemartel.com

Galacticruise Sails Again!

In September of 2008 ninety eager fans and guests gathered in Long Beach California to board the cruise ship "Carnival Paradise" and begin a four day adventure in celebration of thirty years of "Battlestar Galactica".

On board were Richard Hatch, Terry Carter, Sarah Rush, Stu Phillips, Robert Feero, Denny Miller, George Murdoch and others in the cast and crew of the classic 1978 TV show. The cruise was a wonderful and memorable experience. Many of you want to do it again.

It's been nearly three years since the first Galacticruise.  Now is the time! Carpe Diem!

As the original head of the creative team that planned the first Galacticruise, I'm inviting all of you who sailed on the first cruise (or wished they could!) to join us for a return to the high seas!

Galacticruise 2012: Legends, will expand on the original Galacticruise. Most fans of Battlestar Galactica are fans of other Science Fiction series too. You are, aren't you? We'll celebrate not just Battlestar Galactica (1978), but also the recent re-imagined BSG, Star Trek and other classic science fiction TV shows as well!

We've already lined up several science fiction 'legends' who have appeared in the original and new versions of "Galactica", original "Star Trek", "Star Trek Voyager", "Star Trek Enterprise", "Space: Above and Beyond" and "Babylon 5". Plus we have a very special classic guest who appeared in the both the original "Twilight Zone" and "The Outer Limits" and many other shows from the golden age of television.

Who are they? Stay tuned, I'll announce our first guests very soon!

Plus, many fans said that four days on the cruise just isn't enough! Well, how's a full week of fun sound to you? Would you like to visit four ports of call instead of just two? Plus, since we are sailing in early 2012, the year the Mayan Calendar ends;  we'll sail to Mayan temples and beautiful beaches in the Western Caribbean.

Hold on to your hats, it's going to be a real adventure!
